ABL Commemorates International Beer Day

ABL COMMEMORATES INTERNATIONAL BEER DAY

3rd August, 2018

Accra Brewery Limited (ABL), West Africa’s oldest brewery with an 86-year old brewing heritage, joined breweries across the world to commemorate International Beer Day (IBD).

IBD is a global celebration of beer where beer lovers raise a toast to and rejoice in the greatness of beer.

Mr. Wisdom Kofigah, Quality Assurance Manager at ABL said that “IBD is worth celebrating as it puts the spotlight on the unsung heroes behind the making and serving of beer”.

“This is to our hardworking colleagues in the Brewing Department”, Mr. Kofigah added as he raised a glass of CLUB Beer in a toast.

ABL’s Country Director, Mr. Philip Redman, remarked that “as a subsidiary of Anheuser-Busch InBev (ABInBev), the world’s largest brewer, we are mindful of drinking smart on any occasion including International Beer Day”.

“Knowing your limit and staying within it; eating before, during, and after drinking alcohol, as well as avoiding driving while intoxicated are some of the things we need to keep in mind as we enjoy beer”, Mr. Redman said.
