ABL PLC Reflects on Successful Easter Smart Drinking Campaign

Accra Brewery PLC (ABL) celebrates the success of its Smart Drinking Campaign during this year’s Easter festival from March 29th to April 1st, 2024!

This Easter, ABL encouraged all Ghanaians to embrace responsible celebration and smart drinking practices. With the theme “Enjoy Like a Boss,” ABL dived into the heart of the festivities, reaching over 2000+ revelers with top-notch smart drinking tips.

As a subsidiary of AB InBev and the oldest brewery in Ghana, ABL takes pride in championing a culture of responsible drinking, prioritizing safety, and well-being for all. Through its Smart Drinking campaign, ABL aimed to raise awareness, educate consumers, and drive positive impact within the communities it serves.

As staunch advocates of responsible drinking, ABL recognizes the importance of prioritizing safety and well-being while enjoying the festivities, whether with family, friends, or at community events. With the theme “Enjoy Like a Boss,” we aimed to empower revelers to make informed decisions about alcohol consumption, ensuring a memorable and safe celebration for all.

Our Smart Drinking campaign focused on raising awareness and educating consumers on the significance of moderation and safe alcohol consumption practices. Through guidance information displayed prominently on the labels of all ABL’s alcoholic brands, we provided valuable insights into alcohol percentages, emphasized the unsuitability of alcohol for individuals under 18 years of age or pregnant women, and strongly cautioned against drinking and driving.

We encourage consumers to become champions of moderation and inspire others to do the same. Responsible drinking does not hinder enjoyment; rather, it enhances it. Whether it is staying hydrated, eating, or pacing consumption, there are numerous ways to practice moderation and reduce harmful consumption.
