A delegation of Excise and Compliance Officers from the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) led by the head of Excise, Kwabena Anto-Apau has paid a working visit to Accra Brewery Limited (ABL) as part of ongoing stakeholder engagements aimed at strengthening tax compliance and enforcement.
The visit forms part of the Authority’s broader strategy to ensure the successful implementation of Direct-to-Product Tax Stamps in Ghana’s manufacturing and beverage sectors. During the engagement, the GRA team assured ABL of a clearly defined roadmap for the rollout of the initiative, which is expected to enhance transparency, combat illicit trade, and improve revenue mobilization.
The meeting provided an opportunity for both parties to discuss the operational requirements, timelines, and collaborative efforts needed to ensure a smooth transition to the new tax stamp system.
The GRA reaffirmed its commitment to supporting businesses throughout the implementation process, emphasizing the importance of continued cooperation in achieving the objectives of the Excise Tax Stamp Policy.
