As part of efforts to deepen engagement with value chain partners and assess ongoing agronomic collaborations, A team from Accra Brewery PLC has visited Yedent Agro Group of Companies, a leading maize processing factory based in the Bono Region. The visit was led by Mr. Solomon Ayiah, Head of Legal and Corporate Affairs, alongside agricultural consultant Mr. Theunis Coetzee.
The delegation was given a tour of the facility and held strategic discussions on strengthening the sourcing of high-quality maize from local farmers.
The visit continued to the Premium Foods Limited facility in the Ashanti Region, where the team toured both the processing plant and the company’s maize research fields. Premium Foods has been a key partner in advancing agricultural innovations, especially in maize production techniques that improve yield and quality.
Speaking during the visit, Mr. Ayiah emphasized Accra Brewery’s commitment to sustainable agriculture and supporting smallholder farmers:
