CLUB Beer, Ghana’s number one-selling beer, has given away GHC20,000.00 each to Mr. Ebenezer Laud Armah, and Mr. Lawrence Kpakpo Mingle, 8th and 9th winners respectively, of its on-going “Charlie” Won Shi Jama! Campaign.
Presenting the cash prizes to the winners, Accra Brewery Limited’s (ABL) Country Director, Mr. Philip Redman, said that “we launched the Campaign during this year’s FIFA World CupTM to reward consumers of CLUB Beer and football enthusiasts”.
Mr. Redman said that “the Campaign runs until 12th August, even though the tournament is over. We urge you to continue to participate”.
“I intend to invest my winnings in my interior décor business. CLUB is changing lives so God bless them”, he said.
Mr. Armah added that “I urge those who are yet to win to never lose hope and continue to participate in the Campaign”.
Visibly-elated 42-year old poultry farmer, Lawrence Kpakpo Mingle from Mamprobi in Accra could not hide his excitement as he received his cheque.
“Poultry farming is rife with challenges that will be overcome once I invest the money into it. This reward has not only changed my destiny but that of my family as well. For that, I thank ABL and CLUB Beer and pray their business grows from strength to strength”, Mr. Mingle stated.
Ms. Addo-Atuah also reiterated that consumers can redeem free beer instantly when they find a beer image underneath the crowns, and airtime they can share with friends with further details on CLUB’s Facebook page @clubbeer.charlie.
CLUB Beer, ABL’s flagship brand, was first brewed in 1931, and continues to be brewed with the same dedication to quality for over 86 years.
