MINISTRY OF TRADE AND INDUSTRY HONOURS ACCRA BREWERY LIMITED

The Ministry of Trade and Industry has honoured Accra Brewery Limited (ABL), a subsidiary of Anheuser-Busch InBev, the world’s largest brewer, for its immense contribution towards sponsoring and participating in the Ministry’s maiden edition of the ‘Made in Ghana Street Fair’.
The Acting Chief Director, Mr. Ebenezer Padi Adjirako mentioned that the fair was scheduled in December 2017 “as part of Government’s agenda and the Ministry’s mandate to develop and promote Made in Ghana goods and services”.
Ms. Adwoa Aaba Arthur, ABL’s Legal & Corporate Affairs Director received a Plaque of Appreciation (Silver category) from Prof. Alexander Nii Oto Dodoo, the CEO of the Ghana Standards Authority, during an awards ceremony. This was to honour ABL for its immense support towards the fair.
Ms. Arthur mentioned that “our participation and sponsorship of the 1st Made in Ghana Street Fair was driven by our commitment to our Dream of bringing people together for a better world. This Dream is realised partly through our investment in a Growing World where everyone has the opportunity to improve their livelihood’”. “The Ministry’s initiative is highly commendable”, Ms. Arthur continued. “We, therefore, consider it an immense pleasure to have been part of this initiative, and to be considered a valued partner in the development agenda”, she concluded.
