ABL Advocates for Lower Port Costs in High-Level Meeting with GPHA Leadership

The Board Chairman of Accra Brewery, Dr. George Dawson-Ahmoah, together with the Country Director, Mr. Diaan Kruger, Head of Legal and Corporate Affairs, Mr. Solomon Ayiah, and Legal and Compliance Manager, Mr. Philip Buafor, paid a courtesy call on the Director General of the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority (GPHA), Brigadier-General Paul Seidu Tanye-Kulono.

The visit is part of ABL’s campaign plans to advocate for reduced taxes and duties at Ghana’s ports. During the meeting, Brigadier-General Tanye-Kulono outlined his vision for the ports, emphasizing that a key priority under his leadership is to reduce the cost of doing business at Ghana’s ports. “We are committed to creating a more efficient, transparent, and cost-effective business environment at our ports,” said Brigadier-General Tanye-Kulono. “Our goal is to make Ghana the preferred gateway to trade and investment in the region.

The Accra Brewery delegation, led by the Country Director, Diaan Kruger expressed their appreciation for the Director General’s commitment to reforms aimed at improving the ease of doing business.“
