Our proactive approach to workplace safety has created an environment where employees feel protected, valued, and empowered to perform at their best.
In 2024, ABL strengthened its commitment to health and safety by implementing enhanced safety protocols, increasing training sessions, and investing in cutting-edge protective equipment. These efforts have not only improved workplace safety but have also reinforced a culture of accountability and vigilance among employees.
Key Achievements in 2024
- Zero injuries (FAI/TRI/CTRI/LTI) achieved over 913 days without any injuries.
- Conducted comprehensive safety training for all employees, ensuring best practices are followed.
- Launched Zero Risk Exposure campaign and focused drive on closing out all SIF precursors reported
- Strengthened emergency response protocols by conducting several simulation exercises in the plant and involved the National Fire Service
- All permits and licenses were renewed
- 100% training for all employees and contractors on behavioral safety

Looking Ahead: Our 2025 Safety Vision
As we step into 2025, we aim to elevate our safety standards even further. Our key initiatives include:
- Maintain Zero injuries performance (Employees, contractors, and visitors)
- Launch Safe together campaigns to improve safety as a value and culture.
- Improve safety culture survey performance (>90%) where we are each other’s keepers and ensure we are safe together.
- Improve psychological safety and wellbeing of employees
- Conduct frequent safety drills (including Ammonia etc)
- Conduct refresher training on all safety procedures for all employees and contractors
