ABL’S Legal & Corporate Affairs Director Engages Management Students at The Central University Business School Seminar

4th April, 2019

Accra Brewery Limited’s (ABL) Legal & Corporate Affairs Director, Ms. Adwoa Aaba Arthur, engaged Management students at the 2nd edition of the Central University Business School Seminar on the theme, “After School What Next: Standing Out in the Crowd”.

During the seminar, Ms. Arthur mentioned that in order to stand out, young graduates have to choose a career path and follow it, be driven, focused, overcome challenges, be innovative, and willing to go the extra mile when given a task.

She shared her personal experience with the students and encouraged them to pursue diverse interests, and work to improve their communication skills in order to effectively interview for jobs.

Also, Ms. Arthur urged the students to be interested in unpaid internships in companies where they would like to gain experience. This would provide them with an opportunity to develop themselves for future career aspirations.

How Accra Brewery Limited Stands Out

In addition, Ms. Arthur shared with the students how ABL stands out as the most recognized beverage manufacturing company in Ghana.

She stated that, “as a proud part of Anheuser-Busch InBev (ABInBev), the world’s largest brewer, we are united by our Dream of bringing people together for a better world”.

As a company, our Dream is embedded in our culture which, together with our Better World agenda, makes ABL stand out among its competitors. We strongly believe that our consumers are the boss and we strive to offer brand experiences that play meaningful roles in everyone’s lives in a responsible way.

Further, in order to fulfill our Dream, we invest in a Growing World where everyone has the opportunity to improve their livelihood; a Cleaner World where our natural resources are shared and preserved for the future; and a Healthier World where every experience with beer is positive.
