ABL’S LEGAL & CORPORATE AFFAIRS DIRECTOR ENGAGES THE QUEENMOTHER OF ADABRAKA AND THE RAILWAY DISTRICT POLICE COMMANDER

Accra Brewery Limited’s (ABL) Legal & Corporate Affairs Director, Ms. Adwoa Aaba Arthur, paid a courtesy call on two of our community leaders, Naa Korkor Adzieoyi I, the Queenmother of Adabraka Atukpai; and DSP Emmanuel Asante, the District Commander of the Railway District-Ghana Police Service.
During the visit, to the Queenmother and her Council of Advisors, Ms. Arthur mentioned that the visit is part of the company’s effort to engage stakeholders in the Adabraka community, where our brewery is located.
The courtesy call was to serve as a platform through which ABL could help to resolve concerning issues to the office of the Queenmother, in line with our Better World Agenda.
Naa Korkor Adzieoyi I expressed her appreciation to Ms. Arthur and commended ABL for its continuous support to the Adabraka community. The Queenmother asked for support towards her community initiatives such as the promotion of reading in basic schools, as well as the improvement of women’s health, teenage girls, and children in her community.
Ms. Arthur assured the Queenmother that ABL will continue to partner with Adabraka’s community development initiatives which are aligned with our investment in a Growing World where everyone has the opportunity to improve their livelihood; a Cleaner World where our natural resources are shared and preserved for the future; and a Healthier World where every experience with beer is positive.
Ms. Arthur presented a hamper of assorted ABL products and souvenirs as well as 2 cases of Stella Artois to the Queenmother as part of the visit.
Later on in the day, Ms. Arthur paid a visit to DSP Emmanuel Asante at the Railway District Police Station. During the visit, Ms. Arthur mentioned that she looked forward to a renewed partnership and continuous support on security related matters with ABL.
DSP Emmanuel Asante, on the other hand, thanked ABL for its role as a law-abiding organization in the community, and assured Ms. Arthur that the Railway District will continue to serve and protect ABL. She presented packs of Beta Malt, our non-alcoholic beverage and some ABL souvenirs to the police officers.
