ABL’S NEW COUNTRY DIRECTOR PAYS A COURTESY CALL ON THE ADABRAKA ATUKPAI MANTSE

Accra Brewery Limited’s (ABL) new Country Director, Mr. Shaun Raposo, together with ABL’s Director of Legal & Corporate Affairs, Ms. Adwoa Aaba Arthur, paid a courtesy call on the Adarabaka Atukpai Mantse, Nii Tetteh Adjabeng II, to familiarise himself with ABL’s key stakeholders.

During the address to the Chief and his elders, Ms. Adwoa Aaba Arthur mentioned that the visit was to reiterate our commitment as a business to the Adabraka Stool and also to further strengthen our partnership for this year’s Better World initiatives.

Mr. Raposo remarked that it was an honour and a privilege to meet Nii Tetteh Adjabeng II. He mentioned that ABL is dedicated to supporting initiatives of the Adabraka Community. He stated that “sustainability and cleanliness is the primary focus of the business, so I look forward to regularly interacting with the traditional authority to understand how ABL can help the community”.

Nii Tetteh Adjabeng II welcomed Shaun Raposo and his team where he stated that the relationship between the Stool and ABL had been in existence since 1931. He expressed his immense gratitude to the company for the various community-centred initiatives that have tremendously improved the lives of the people in Adabraka.

Nii Tetteh Adjabeng II wished Mr. Raposo well in his new role and he mentioned that he looked forward to deepening the existing relationship between ABL and his community. He finally appealed for further assistance to sustain his projects on sanitation and Ga literacy.

About Mr. Shaun Raposo

He began his career with South African Breweries (SAB) Miller Plc. in 2005 in the export division and served in several roles in Supply Chain for the business’s South Africa and Angola markets. He was head of Supply Chain and Planning in our Nigeria Business and then Head of Logistics. Before this new appointment, he was the Procurement Director for our Business Unit (BU) in West Africa.

Shaun Raposo was appointed as the Country Director effective 1st February, 2019, and he is responsible for overseeing ABL’s overall business performance. One of his primary objectives as the Country Director is to offer premium customer service to our cherished customers and neighbouring communities.
